First Holy Communion 2008 |
As part of our ongoing process of being ONE new parish, this year we were the first parish in the Archdiocese to have our First Holy Communion Mass at the Cathedral. This mean't that our three parish schools, our group of Special Needs children and those children who attend non-Catholic schools, all received their First Holy Communion together. This involved a lot of planning, preparation and cooperation. I would Like to thank Sr Catherine who coordinated all the above; our Three Headteachers and their staffs; the Catechists Sr Catherine organised; our Little Chgurch helpers; Carolyn who as usual corodinates all that happens on a day to day basis. I would also like to thank the musicians and the Cathedral staff: Canon O'Brien, Ms Claire Hanlon; ushers, sacristians, security, Servers, eucharistic ministers etc. Please pray for the the following children who celebrated their First Holy Communion: Summer Alexander; Abbie Chapman; Ciaran Cullen;Nathan Duringer; Oliver Grimes; Elliot Hayes; Faye Johnson; John Paul Kerfoot; Hollie McIntyre; Joseph Millet; Liam Parry; Tyler Ryan; Bethany Trueman; Kieran Cheung; Emily Crompton; Sadie Duffy;Abbier Golling; Daniel Haslam; Molly Howey; Nathan Kelly; Ella McConville; Thomas Mason; Caitlyn Mulville; Rebecca Robertson; Rachel Robvertson; Rachel Tobin; Luke Welsh; Daisey Brophy; Olivia Cross; Niamh Dutton; Callum Graham; Hannah Hawkins; Melody Hui; Molly Kempster; Shannon McDonough; Francis Millea; Lewis Newburn; Erin Sohl; Heidi Wardell; Hope Pryal- O'Rourke; Charles Barclay-Harris; Christina Golling (Parent); Kieran Blowes; Thomas Connolly; Amy Doolan; Thomas getty; Olivia Harris; Harry Hodgson; Paige Jones; James Lewis; Emma Mason; Samuel Mufti; Eloise Roberts; Ellie Swift; Jessica Wardell; Lauren Brenann; Shea Denny; Paul Foy; Emma Grimsditch; Russell Hayes; Megan Jones; Callum Lamb; Adam Manville; Patrick millet; Amy Powell; Billy Sandison; Kayliegh Thomas; Tara Bibby; Elsier Connelly; Erin Devereaux; Abbie French; John Hampson; Kaitlyn Hinds; Olivia Jones; Megan Lester; Sophie Manville; Sophie Millett; Jessica Ryan and Morgan Townson.
